ALBANY, Ore. -- It wasn't the site employees at a post office in Albany expected to see Friday morning, but overnight, someone had written graffiti all over the outside of the office and broke a glass door.
Albany police are calling it one of the oddest cases they've seen in a while. Not because of the broken door or graffiti, but because of what the graffiti said.
Albany Police say 38-year-old Trent Fox is suspected of writing graffiti and shattering the glass door the post office in Albany. They say what was odd about this case is what the suspect allegedly wrote on the building.
Police say there were several references to 9/11 as well as the words Fort Hood and then next to it, the words "it's coming."
Albany Police say they aren't concerned it will go any further than just the writing.
Police say they found the suspect extremely intoxicated and believe he was angry about something and chose to take it out on the post office building.
Officials at the post office would not comment on camera about the situation but say they are working with investigators. They say their top priority is the safety of their employees.
KEZI 9 News Reporter Jeff Skrzypek will have more on this investigation tonight at 5 and 6.
