EUGENE, Ore. -- A 23-year-old Eugene man is behind bars for possessing child pornography, and his mother says she's surprised to learn about the incident.
Investigators say Corydon Wesley Sceva was found with more than a half a dozen images depicting children in sexually explicit conduct.
Residents in his North Eugene neighborhood say they don't know Sceva well, but they were surprised to learn about his arrest.
Clinical social workers say more people are using the internet for pornography, which sometimes leads them down darker roads.
Sceva now faces 14 counts of Encouraging Child Sex Abuse. He's being held at the Lane County Jail is in scheduled to appear in court Thursday.
