LANE COUNTY, Ore. -- More than 170,000 Lane County taxpayers will receive their 2009-2010 property tax statements as early as this weekend.  The county mailed out the statements Friday.

Property taxes are payable in three installments.  The first payment is due on Monday, November 16, 2009; the second payment will be due on Tuesday, February 16, 2010; the third payment will be due on Monday, May 17, 2010.

Taxpayers who make a full payment on or before November 16 will receive a 3% discount, while those who make a two-thirds payment before that date will receive a 2% discount.
