Climate Change May Expand Forests

CORVALLIS, Ore.-- Researchers at Oregon State University say forests in the Pacific Northwest might soon be multiplying because of global warming.

 

Experts say because of the warming climate, it'll be easier for trees at higher altitudes to grow.  But they say the green giants a lower elevations may not expand or even in some cases decrease in size.
