Lane County Flu Clinics Affected By Vaccine Shortage

EUGENE, Ore. -- The Lane County Health Department says it will postpone its seasonal flu clinics this year. That's because officials say they don't have enough of the vaccine to go around.

Health officials are working to reschedule the clinics for mid-November or December, when they hope the vaccine will be available to everyone.

Clinics affected by this postponement include: Junction City, Veneta, Cottage Grove and all Wednesday afternoon walk-in clinics at Lane County Public Health in Eugene.
