EUGENE, Ore. -- Drivers on Coburg Road may notice some major changes to the Beltline intersection. It's part of a nearly $3 million ODOT project to reduce congestion in the area.

Changes include extending the eastbound turn lane, which is meant to reduce congestion during peak traffic hours. The eastbound beltline ramp will also extend 500 feet and will have two turn lanes.

ODOT hopes to have all the changes completed by the end of October.
