By Gia Vang

EUGENE/SPRINGFIELD, Ore. -- A homeless man who says he was lit on fire said he's doing OK Monday.

James P. Lemmon said he has to go on with life, but hopes the person who did this to him will come forward.

Lemmon suffered burns on his hands, arm and face.

Lemmon said he was walking in downtown near Broadway and High streets when he was bumped.  When he turned around, his arm was engulfed in flames.  Lemmon proceeded to stop, drop and roll.  When the fire was put out, he walked to the Campus Inn where a clerk called for help.

Lemmon is signed up for the Bridge Assistance program which pays the medical bills for those who can't afford insurance.

Detectives are still asking for anyone with information to call them at (541) 682-5172.
