NEWPORT, Ore.-- Governor Ted Kulongoski visited the future site of the NOAA Pacific Research Fleet and weighed in on the economic impact of the move.

Port officials and people who worked on getting NOAA to call Newport home, say the project should be completed sometime in May of 2011.
