CRESWELL, Ore. -- Friends of a pilot who died in a plane crash are trying to cope with their loss Monday.
Investigators say 41-year-old Benjamin S. Henderson's tow plane crashed not too long after he took off from Hobby Field Airport.
They say he was well-liked and never had a frown.
Investigators say the pilot in the glider connected to Henderson's plane disconnected after he saw Henderson's plane in trouble.
The FAA has taken over the investigation.
