FLORENCE, Ore.--  When the mercury rises, residents in the Willamette Valley head to the coast.
 
Temperatures in the Eugene/Springfield area should hit the upper 90s this weekend, and with temperatures in the mid-60s in Florence, that's the spot to be to cool down.
 
Businesses say they definitely see more foot traffic with the warmer weather, but because of the tough economy, people are still not spending as much.
