GARIBALDI, Ore. -- Police in both Oregon and Washington are investigating the disappearance of an Albany man on a holiday fishing trip. John Adkins left Garibaldi over Fourth of July weekend aboard a 48-foot fishing boat with two other men. They sailed to the Port of Il Waco in southern Washington, but 53-year-old Adkins never made it back to Oregon.
