Eugene, Ore--Experts say the fourth of July is one of the most dangerous holidays of the year. According to the National Council on Firework Safety in 2007, there were reportedly 9,800 firework related injuries in the US.
 
Springfield's Deputy Fire Marshal says if you're going to have your own fireworks make sure you follow safety precautions or go to a professional show.
