Eugene, Ore--Flames broke out just before 3 this morning, at Ridgeline Montessori School on 28th and Lincoln Street. The fire damaged Ridgeline's lower school building. Ridgeline administrators say the fire destroyed kindergarten through fifth grade classrooms.
Ridgeline, a charter school, shares one building with the Village School and that school may have some smoke and water damage. Fire officials say the fire is suspicious and Eugene Police are taking over the investigation.
