DEXTER, Ore. -- A teenager is in the hospital Wednesday after he and a van collided on Dexter Road.
Lane County Sheriff's said a white van was heading north when the teen pulled into the street on a motorized bike. They said an initial investigation shows the driver of the van was traveling at a legal speed and swirved to try to avoid the teen.
Authorities said the teen was transported to Sacred Heart at Riverbend Hospital.
Authorities said they could not say what kind of injuries the teen sustained, only that he was not wearing a helmet.
