FALL CREEK, Ore.-- Protesters from the group Eugene Tide Rising are showing their opposition to the Western Oregon Plan Revision--WOPR--by camping out in a tree in the Fall Creek area.
Protesters say under the WOPR, logging will increase by more than 400% and more than 100,000 acres of old growth forest would be cut down.
The Bureau of Land Management says they have no plans to log in the Fall Creek area any time soon, and there are no proposed sales at this time.
