CRESWELL, Ore.--  The United States Marine Corps is helping the City of Creswell build a new educational pavilion at Garden Lake Park.
 
The pavilion is part of a restoration project to enhance the park for the community and honor the late Mayor Ron Pettiti's memory.
 
The Oregon Parks and Recreation Department awarded the city $50,000 for a youth legacy grant.  In turn, the city had to match that donation with an additional $50,000 in labor, material or cash donations.
