EUGENE, Ore.--  Lane County Public Health says the healthcare system has been preparing for a swine flu outbreak for years.  Health officials say it's only a matter of time before the flu hits Oregon, but advise everyone not to worry.

The key to prevention is washing your hands.  And if you're already sick, stay home from work and cover your mouth when you cough.

Lane County Public Health says they have a solid system set in place at the federal, state and county levels, and Lane County is in good shape.
