COBURG, Ore. -- KEZI 9 News confirmed on Tuesday that the Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards and Training, or DPSST, is moving forward with its investigation of a former Coburg police chief. The state is looking into allegations that John Bosley lied to a state and a federal agency about the sale of a weapon. Bosley has since resigned from the post, but he still has his police certification, which would allow him to get another police job.
The investigation results will likely be presented to the DPSST's Police Policy Committee in May.
