KEZI 9, an ABC affiliate, is the single strongest television station in Oregon outside of Portland. KEZI 9 signed on in 1960 and today nearly 500,000 people throughout 12 counties watch KEZI 9 each week.
The Eugene television market (DMA) includes households in four counties: Lane, Benton, Coos and Douglas. KEZI 9’s reach is not limited to these four counties and the station often refers to a larger trade area that includes the four DMA counties plus Linn and Deschutes Counties. Total coverage for KEZI 9 extends even beyond this trade area into nearly 200,000 households throughout Western Oregon.
The list of cities that KEZI 9 serves includes Eugene/Springfield, Roseburg, Coos Bay/North Bend, Corvallis/Albany, Lebanon and Cottage Grove.
KEZI 9 broadcasts a variety of network, syndicated and local programs. The current program schedule includes: KEZI 9 News, Good Morning America, Rachael Ray, The View, Judge Judy, Your New House Daily, ABC Soaps, Judge Joe, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, Extra, Entertainment Tonight, The Insider, Nightline and Jimmy Kimmel Live. KEZI 9 also carries these ABC Primetime shows: Wife Swap, The Bachelor, According to Jim, Boston Legal, Lost, SuperNanny, 20/20, The Wonderful World of Disney, America’s Funniest Home Videos, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, Desperate Housewives, Grey’s Anatomy and Ugly Betty.
KEZI 9 is recognized as the leader in local news coverage. KEZI 9 News has received numerous journalism awards and is regularly honored by the Associated Press for excellence in reporting, writing and photography. Nielsen ratings continue to confirm the high popularity of KEZI 9 News with Western Oregonians.
KEZI 9 is Eugene’s local television station. KEZI 9 produces local weekly shows for high school football and basketball, as well as OSAA High School Championship programming throughout the year.
KEZI 9 is the last locally owned television station in the Eugene market, and the current local owner has been with the station since 1960, providing stability and a positive community image. KEZI 9 is also headquartered in the Chamber’s Media Center, a technologically advanced, 100,000 square foot production facility that offers our clients the latest in full service film and video production.

KEZI 9 Bios
Bryce Anslinger
Bryce Anslinger joined the KEZI 9 family in January of 2008. He comes to Eugene after spending several great years working as an Anchor/Reporter at KERO in Bakersfield California.
Lindsey Doi
Lindsey Doi joined the KEZI-9 News Team in April 2008 as the Roseburg Bureau Chief.
Melissa Frey
Melissa Frey is a meteorologist who joined KEZI in the Summer of 2007. She is a native Oregonian who found her love for the sky at an early age.
Paris Jackson
Paris Jackson joined the KEZI 9 News Team in May of 2008. She's a graduate of the Edward R Murrow School of Communications at Washington State University, where she majored in Broadcast News and Comparative Ethnic Studies.
Aaron Ofseyer
Aaron Ofseyer is a meteorologist who joins us from KTVH in Helena, Montana where he began his news career.Aaron grew up in Dallas, Texas where he fell in love with severe weather.
Jeff Skrzypek
Jeff Skrzypek joined KEZI 9 NEWS as a Reporter in July of 2009 from Phoenix, Arizona.
Gia Vang
Gia Vang joined KEZI 9 NEWS as a Reporter in January 2009 from Sacramento, California. Her passion for storytelling came at an early age writing stories for classmates in grade school.
Dan Corcoran
Dan joined KEZI 9 News as an Anchor/Reporter/Producer in February of 2008. He comes to Western Oregon from Eastern Massachusetts, which is about as far away from home as he can be without leaving the continental U.S.
Rick Douglas
Rick Douglas joined KEZI 9 News in July as an anchor and managing editor. He is thrilled to be back in the Northwest and Oregon in particular.
Heather Hintze
Heather Hintze joined the KEZI 9 News Team in August 2007. After an amazing year and a half on the morning show, Heather is now reporting for the evening news.
Holly Menino
Holly Menino joined the KEZI 9 News Team in July of 2005. She graduated from the Edward R. Murrow School of Communication at Washington State University with an emphasis in Broadcast News.
Brandi Smith
You can watch Brandi every weekday on KEZI 9 News at 5 p.m., 6 p.m., 6:30 p.m. and 11 p.m
Justin Stapleton
Justin Stapleton joined KEZI 9 News as Chief Meteorologist in March of 2009. He arrived in Western Oregon from WCBI-TV, in Columbus, Mississippi where he was the morning meteorologist.
