EUGENE, Ore. -- Hundreds of Lane County residents flooded Wheeler Pavilion in Eugene Saturday to see if they could receive an H1N1 vaccine.
Health officials turned several people away, many of whom had lined up for hours, in order to save the vaccine for high-priority people, including pregnant women, health care workers, children and the elderly. In all, between 1,100 and 1,200 people received the vaccine.
The next clinic at Wheeler Pavilion will be taking place next Saturday from 9 am to 3 pm.
