Dan joined KEZI 9 News as an Anchor/Reporter/Producer in February of 2008. He comes to Western Oregon from Eastern Massachusetts, which is about as far away from home as he can be without leaving the continental U.S. Though he misses New England and his hometown of Haverhill, MA, Dan is very excited to be in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.

He joins KEZI from WMUR, the ABC affiliate in Manchester, New Hampshire. That's where he spent nearly two years behind the camera working as a Freelance Producer. While at WMUR, Dan was lucky enough to cover presidential politics in the months leading up to the First In The Nation N.H. Primary. At the same time, he was also serving as an Anchor/Reporter/Producer at WMCT in Marlborough, MA; a cable television station. He began his broadcasting career in the Big Apple, waking up bright and early as an intern with NBC's Today Show.

Dan received his degree in Communication from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He also holds his certificate in broadcasting from the Connecticut School of Broadcasting.

Since arriving at KEZI, Dan has been having a great time telling the stories that matter to the people of Western Oregon. When he's not reporting the news, he enjoys trying different restaurants, exploring the new place he calls home, traveling, and keeping in touch with his friends and family back east. If you'd like to contact Dan with a story idea or just to say Hello, you can send him an email at dancorcoran@kezi.com.
