Heather Hintze joined the KEZI 9 News Team in August 2007.  After an amazing year and a half on the morning show, Heather is now reporting for the evening news.  She'd like to thank everyone who got up early to meet her out and about before the sun was even up.

She comes to Eugene from the great state of Montana, where she graduated with high honors from the University of Montana in Missoula with a degree in Broadcast Journalism and minor in Spanish. Raised in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, Heather brings true Montana charm to the newsroom and the Eugene community.

During the summer of 2006, Heather interned as a reporter for KCFW, the NBC affiliate in Kalispell, Montana. In fall 2006, she began producing the weekend newscasts and part-time reporting at KPAX, Missoula's CBS affiliate.

Heather loves reporting in the Willamette Valely and she's always looking for more stories. If you have a story idea please let her know.
