Paris Jackson

Paris Jackson joined the KEZI 9 News Team in May of 2008. She’s a graduate of the Edward R Murrow School of Communication at Washington State University, where she majored in Broadcast News and Comparative Ethnic Studies. While at WSU, she anchored and reported for Channel 8. After graduation she landed an internship with KING 5-TV in Seattle, Washington. She later landed a position there as an Assignment Desk Assistant/ Teleprompter Operator. Paris is originally from Tacoma, Washington and is delighted to be a few hours away from family and friends. She’s excited about this new beginning in Eugene and if you see her on the street reporting feel free to say hello. Paris reports Monday through Friday during the 5 and 6pm newscasts. Paris is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists. She plans to spend her down time exploring Western Oregon and getting to know the community.
