Lindsey Doi joined the KEZI-9 News Team in April 2008 as the Roseburg Bureau Chief. Born and raised in sunny Hawaii, she has quickly embraced the Oregon lifestyle with its chilly mornings, warm people, and breathtaking environment.

She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Chapman University in Orange, California with a degree in Television and Broadcast Journalism where she was also a Presidential Scholar.

She’s an artist at heart, and owned her own custom cake decorating business while attending college.

Lindsey misses her family and dog, Miko, back home in Hawaii but loves the fishing and outdoor adventures that Oregon has to offer.

Lindsey interned for the news departments of KITV-4 and KHON-TV 2, the ABC and FOX network affiliates in Honolulu, Hawaii.

She also worked for two years in production and as talent floor manager for KOCE Public Television and as a reporter for Orange County’s CHANNEL 3 News.

She currently reports from the Roseburg newsroom on weekdays during the 5 and 6pm newscasts.

Feel free to email Lindsey your story ideas and comments at LindseyDoi@kezi.com.
